STAFF LAWYER
We are seeking an experienced Staff Lawyer with at least 2-3 years of experience in family law to provide legal services at our legal clinic located in Surrey, BC. This full-time role is ideal for a legal professional who is passionate about supporting access to justice for marginalized communities.

Serving on our Board is an excellent way to contribute meaningfully to access to justice for the South Asian diaspora in BC. Our Board is responsible for stewardship of the organization and maintaining its activities and growth. The Board takes on governance activities alongside determining the overall strategic direction of SALCBC.

Ideal candidates should bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:
Non-profit governance and Board experience, legal knowledge regarding areas of law that SALCBC engages with, communications, financial literacy, fundraising, accounting, leadership and strategic planning, and advocacy.
All board members complete a one-year term.
